Problem: Decreasing Water level

Cause: Climate change and drought.

Effects: unnavigable river and larger fish would die, loss of habitat for wildlife.

Efforts to save Rhine river: The EU are going to protect Rhine's waterway. Some conservationists are willing to dig the central part of the Rhine to maintain valuable habitats.
